Aquaterra Publishing is a small publishing business based in southwest England, that was originally set up to sell the work of professional photographer Nigel Hicks.
Now it has expanded to include work by other photographers, authors and publishers, concentrating on travel and nature within the UK (though with a few exceptions).
As a result, the site now has a much wider product base, and hopefully will be of interest to many people looking for books and photography.
What we produce and sell
Aquaterra Publishing produces books, photographic prints and photographic greetings cards that focus primarily on the travel, landscape and wildlife photography of Nigel Hicks, a leading professional photographer based in southwest England.
Books: Although we have published several books authored and photographed by Nigel Hicks, on this website the books we sell go well beyond just the books we publish, and include a growing range of authors and publishers. What they almost all have in common is a focus on travel, nature and photography in the UK.
With the current Covid situation (spring 2021), this range of books should provide a huge help in planning your spring and summer 2021 staycation.
Prints: At this point, all the prints we’re currently selling focus on the landscape, wildlife and travel photography of Nigel Hicks, with images covering subjects that range from coastal views of Cornwall, to travel scenes around the world. These are available in a choice of sizes, and as acrylic-mounted, frame-stretched canvas or photographic poster prints.
Greetings cards: Currently our greetings cards, sold as multicard packs, focus on the Nigel’s landscape photography in southwest England. As such, they cover rural and coastal views in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset, from high Atlantic cliffs and wide sandy beaches, to Dartmoor’s open moors and ancient woodlands.
