It has taken a while, but we’ve finally finished putting together our Aquaterra Publishing newly revamped website, concentrating solely on promoting the books and prints of photographer/author Nigel Hicks.
When you browse through the pages of this site you’ll see that it is divided into two parts: books and prints, and that the books section is further divided into books on southwest England and on the Philippines.
It’s a division that neatly summarises the split in Nigel’s book work, his life covering primarily those two regions of the world. Five books are listed in each section, the ten books together representing much of Nigel’s book publishing work over the past 10 years.
The books
The books cover mostly travel and wildlife in southwest England and the Philippines, with titles that include the likes of Wild Southwest and Wild Philippines. There is also his Portrait of a County series of books, encompassing a collections of books that photographically showcase the beauty of the counties of southwest England. Naturally, we really hope that you’ll like these books and will want to include one or two of them in your collection at home.
The prints
The print section represents a snippet of his photographic work over recent years, covering mostly – though not entirely – landscape and nature photography in the UK and internationally. We really hope you’ll love the photography here and will want to own at least one print as a valued and valuable piece of wall art.

In this initial phase we have on show here just seven prints, covering landscape and nature photography in southwest England, each of them available in three sizes and on two media – photographic paper and canvas. In time, we plan to expand the number of images available as prints, as well as the media on which they can be printed.
With this newly revamped website, we’re looking forward to this exciting new phase in the life of Aquaterra Publishing. We really hope to be able to take you along with us on this journey! There’ll be more news as we develop both the website and the product range available.
